If you appeared for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1), you can now check your qualifying status. This result has been released on the official website for all qualified candidates.
After receiving over 28 lakh applications, the SSC has shortlisted approximately 1,39,395 candidates for the subsequent examination phase. If your name is on the merit list, you must start preparing for the next stage immediately.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam is tentatively scheduled for the third week of January 2026 or February 2026.
The Tier 2 exam will be an objective-type paper. Paper II of Tier 2 will focus on descriptive writing and will be conducted after the objective-type paper.
It will also include a skill test for certain specific posts.
