  1. Same marks, different ages: If two candidates have equal aggregate marks, the candidate who is older in age is given a higher rank.

  2. Same marks, same age: When both candidates have same total marks and same age, the written examination score of the individual candidates is compared. The candidate scoring higher in written examination is given a higher rank.
