The Union Public Service Commission has released the list of UPSC Toppers along with UPSC CSE Final Result 2025.
Every year lakhs of aspirants appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, widely considered one of the toughest exams in India.
This year, the surprising element is that the top three candidates come from diverse backgrounds- an MBBS doctor Anuj Agnihotri has secured All India Rank 1 while Rajeshwari Suve M who is from an engineering background has secured All India Rank 2. Along with that, All India Rank 3 was secured by a commerce graduate- Akansh Dhull. This shows that aspirants who stay consistent in their UPSC preparation are bound to succeed with flying colours regardless of their background.
The number of candidates recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Services, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services – Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ is 958.
The All India Rank of the candidates determines whether or not they are recommended for the services. The rank required for IAS, IPS, IFS varies from year to year based on exam difficulty, vacancies and competition.

Along with the UPSC Result 2025, the UPSC Topper List has been released on 6th March 2026.
The UPSC Toppers List 2025 consists of names and roll numbers of the candidates who have been recommended for the final selection.
Anuj Agnihotri has secured AIR Rank 1.
AIR Rank 2 and 3 were secured by Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull respectively.

AIR 1- Anuj Agnihotri

Anuj Agnihotri is the UPSC Topper 2025 with All India Rank 1 . He is from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
He built a strong academic foundation while pursuing MBBS from AIIMS Jodhpur and completed his medical studies in 2023.
After this, he decided to pursue civil services and started his administrative career.
As of now, he is serving in the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands civil services (a Group B Gazetted)
AIR 2- Rajeshwari Suve M

The female topper and the overall 2nd top ranker in the UPSC Exam 2025 is Rajeshwari Suve M.
Prior to this achievement, Rajeshwari has also served as a Deputy Collector and secured top position in the TNPSC Group I Examination in Tamil Nadu.
Her milestones reflect a dedication towards public service.
AIR 3- Akansh Dhull

As per the UPSC Result 2025, Akansh Dhull has secured All India Rank 3. He was born in Rohtak, Haryana and completed his schooling in Chandigarh.

Who Scored the Highest Marks in UPSC Ever?
In 2017, Anudeep Durishetty scored the highest marks ever in the UPSC Civil services examination with a total score of 1126.
He graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru University and was able to crack the UPSC exam in his fifth attempt.
