UPSC CMS Admit Card 2026 Out: Download Link, Date

The UPSC CMS Result 2026 is out. UPSC published the written result of the Combined Medical Services Examination on 1 September 2026, a month after the exam was held on 2 August 2026.

The official name-wise list runs to serial number 2,923, so 2,923 candidates have qualified for the Interview/Personality Test.

There are two official PDFs. One is arranged by roll number, while the other also shows candidate names. Appearing in either list means you have cleared the written stage.

It does not mean final selection. UPSC has also made it clear that the candidature of shortlisted candidates is provisional until eligibility and original documents are verified.

The part that deserves immediate attention is not the cutoff. It is the post-result formality. Every candidate who has qualified must log in to the UPSC Online Portal within the 15-day window after declaration of the written result, verify or update the required information, upload relevant proof and finally submit the application.

Even if you have nothing to change, final submission is still mandatory for generation of the e-Summon Letter.

Paper 1 moves repeatedly between political theory and present-day Indian politics. Paper 2 combines core IR concepts with current foreign-policy questions.

The UPSC Mains Indian Language Paper 2026 was conducted on 29 August 2026 in the forenoon session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

It is Paper A of the Civil Services (Main) Examination and is a qualifying paper. UPSC's 2026 examination scheme assigns 300 marks to Paper A, while the marks obtained in this paper are not added to the final merit ranking.
