Educational Qualification
You qualify under either of two conditions:
You have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination.
You have appeared, or will appear, in the final MBBS examination. In this case you can sit for the written test, but you must submit proof of passing MBBS before the Personality Test stage.
Only MBBS counts. BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other degrees do not qualify for the CMS exam.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit is 32 years for CMS posts, counted on 1 August of the exam year. Reserved categories get relaxation as per government rules:

Nationality Rule
You must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962.
Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries to settle permanently in India also qualify, subject to a certificate of eligibility.
